Lyme Regis ArtsFest is now a biannual festival and will return in full in 2009.

However this year to keep the momentum going Lyme Regis ArtsFest Artist’s have got together to create an exciting exhibition art trail in central Lyme Regis. Over 30 artists will be showing work in over 60 venues throughout the town. There will be at least 3 major mixed shows and also individual works by each artist in shops, businesses, pubs and hotels. It will be a major collaborative effort between artists and businesses and definitely worth a visit.

As well as the exhibitions there will be workshops in the Town Mill Community room, stone balancing displays, a children’s art trail competition, pottery sessions and a student’s exhibition and ‘Big Draw’ event at the Woodroffe School.

Dates for this year are 27 September – 5 October 2008

5,000 art trail leaflets will be available throughout the region from August 2008.
